How to correctly install a continuous hinges?
1. Preparation
Tools to prepare: Level, carpenter pencil, tape measure, hand drill/hole opener (with 35mm drill bit), Phillips screwdriver.
Positioning measurement: Determine the hinge position at the junction of the door panel and the side panel. A single door is usually installed with 2-3 combination leaves. The top hinge is 12cm away from the door edge and the bottom is 25cm away from the door edge (the specific size is adjusted according to the door weight).
2. Positioning and hole opening
Line marking: Mark the hinge installation area with a pencil on the edge of the door panel, and reserve 5mm for the drilling margin (to avoid cracking).
Drilling hinge cup holes: Use a 35mm hole opener to drill vertically at the marked position of the door panel, and the depth is strictly controlled to 12mm (too deep affects the firmness).
Clear the wood chips in the hole and ensure that the hole wall is flat. 2
3. Fix the hinge
Install the hinge cup: Insert the hinge cup into the drilled hole of the door panel and fix it initially with the matching screws (the screws need to be aligned with the hinge cup hole position).
Connect the side panels:
Open the hinge arm and align the door panel with the preset position of the cabinet/door frame side panel;

4. Debugging and acceptance
Six-way fine-tuning: Use the up and down, left and right, front and back adjustment screws of the hinge to correct the position of the door panel to ensure smooth opening and closing without friction.
